The AFMM organises several activities with the aim of promoting French civilization and culture. These range from French traditions such as the Beaujolais and the Chandeleur to conferences, exhibitions and concerts. The Alliance, as its name implies, in the spirit of its founders, seeks to maximise local and international cultural partnerships, including the Embassy of France in Malta and other local cultural partners.
AFMM students attending our summer courses were invited to visit the French Embassy in Valletta.
The Cultural Councillor, Mme Elisabeth du Breil de Pontbriand addressed the students and talked about the function of the Embassy and explained the different roles of cooperation between the Malta and France.
All students were offered a book in French and a map with the regions of France.
These photos show many happy faces.
Les eleves de l'AFMM remercient l'Ambassade de France de son chalereux accueil.
